Lost PPP session yesterday from 2am to 6am. Tried calling support but BT woman said there is a fault so opened a ticket. But curious thing I haven't been using connection til 8pm tonight and the line seems to be suffering minimal packet loss on a regular basis since the outage.
Packet loss doesn't appear to be affecting speeds, all speed testers performing normally and downloads hitting a constant 17.72 mbps from good servers.
Anyone else? Here's my snapshot showing outage and packet loss.

Packet loss seems to be about 5% upstream from my provider, wonder if this may account for variable speeds from tbb test files and other routes are ok.

PL seems to have cleared up now, wonder if O-bit were doing a router upgrade.

Just tried that test and got similar results to you apart from the packet loss.
For reference I'm on the unlimited package.
On another note re surfwise, this week I have noticed a big improvement in tests from this site.
Speed tests are now far less variable and nearer what I would expect and the test files are coming down at line rate whereas before they were also variable.
Also had an issue with Steam downloads being stuck around 1MB/s which has now cleared and I now get full speed.
Tests from other sites have been OK and generally no other issue with speeds.
Theory for Steam was that it may have been a peering issue so maybe some work has been done in that area?

Yes I noticed that too.

Maybe spoke too soon.
Seeing some consistent low level packet loss since this morning.
Also had a ramp up of minimum ping between 4pm and 6pm yesterday.
My Broadband Ping
First time I have seen that pattern of packet loss. Looks different to the problem you had though.

Yes seeing similar on my line.

Tried a few speedtests around midday and it was a bit variable but speedtest net to London was fine. Will have to keep an eye on it, PL seems to have cleared up later, but it is minimal.

Hi,
Have you raised this as a fault with us? I can only see one fault of this nature and we have found an issue and resolved it (so far customer has seen improvement)

Hi
Saw improvement over Monday and today. Raised a ticket but Glenn said there was a problem and it should have been resolved on Sunday. Will keep an eye on it over next few days and raise a new ticket if necessary.
Cheers

OK I have opened a New ticket on an unrelated matter that may need your network gurus attention.
