Migration Dates From ADSL Max - LLU Reseller

Currently i am with Aquiss, but a recent LLU reseller has come available so I am swapping to Vivaciti (Talktalk) but

1. the checker showed activation date as 27th March
2. First Invoice shows activation as 30th March
3. Aquiss shows a cease request for 26th March

so i have submitted a ticket, but anyone have any experience of this? will it go down then up as i expect (minimal down time) or will i lose connection for a few days?

my question now then woudl be if Aquiss has a cease date of the 26th then i guess i will have no service for 3 days?

Why have you got a cease date from Aquiss? Did you tell them to cancel your contract?

It is moving from IPStream to LLU, so their system may well be showing as a cease.

My line also showed a pending cease when moving from IPStream to LLU but this only applied to broadband and nothing else - I would suspect that the Aquiss broadband will still work up to the date of switch-over but it would probably be best to check with them.

Yes, but surely the Cease should have been set by OR to be the same date as the migration?

In my case the Vivaciti date was later than the actual migration, so although the Vivaciti date may not agree with the "cease" it may be that Surfwise have provisoned an earlier date as they did with my line on the same exchange.

I was off for a day. Zen closed my account on the migration day but actual work took place a day later.

I know of one other person who - like me - saw migration slip back by one day from the date notified to him by "The Surfwise Provisioning Team".

Looks like it depends on where you live.
