If TimeTalk are working a scam to steal TalkTalk customers, blocking the TimeTalk website is probably a good idea from their point of view. It will help people such as your Dad from accidentally getting to the site, (I have done a couple of times in the past) and not realising it isn't TalkTalk, or at least part of TalkTalk.

So saving them from being slammed like your Dad somehow was.

My Dad wasn't conned he was high jacked ! And if I'm not wrong in British law you are allowed to use reasonable force to reject hijackers up to the point where you shoot them dead. And i have linked them to Tiny Computers ( gone bust) - Time Computers (Gone Bust) - Time Talk ( soon to go bust) all trading from the same address. When will our stupid government take action over the few people who start company after company ripping people off running away then coming back to do the same again ? According to the Burnley express person I talked to its the same Asian family that have set up over 30 ltd company's in the last 15 years, drive 40k cars and laugh at us for being stupid enough to fall for their scams.

I know all the history . I had my own small VAR/ISV business when they first started up in the UK.

Hi, im having a problem with which seems to be with the same company/companys. It started with Supanet two yrs ago, I tried to connect with
them but had lots of problems so cancelled my contract and went to BT.
Now 2yrs later they are chasing me for money, the company are Quick collect
debt collectors, when writing a letter to Supanet it has come back as time talk.

The addresses of both these companys are both in Time Technology Park
Burlney, after reading this post especially the last imput it seems a scam. Has
anyone any ideas or knowledge of these companys.

I had a similar problem with Pipex after it was bought out (forget by whom). I had left Pipex about a year before the sale but some 3-4 years after leaving I started received demands for arrears owing.

The problem is that unless their 'rogue' invoice is settled they pass it on to a debt collection agency and then things really go pear shaped.

These sharp practices should be outlawed !!

I say get the torches and pitchforks out....
