More ADSL24 Coms migration questions.

I received letter on 16th Jan, saying that I'd be migrated between 22nd Jan and Feb 14th, but nothing seems to have happened as I'm still on my "old" ADSL24 IP address.

However, if I log in to my account, it tells me that my IP address is something different (presumably my intended new one).

In addition, there's zilch showing on my connection logs or usage reports, so I have no idea of my current monthly usage.

The letter also says that I'll be moving to DSL30, and that "there will be no increase to the price", which seems very generous considering I should be paying almost £5 a month less according to COMS website.

Maybe this has been covered elsewhere on the enormous ADSL/coms forums, but I can't find it.

Is this normal?

It sounds as if the service on the old one hasn't yet been discontinued but your account has been pointed to your new service.

An unlimited download connection? Wow.....!!

The situation is the same for me. Are you also on a 20CN-only exchange with no LLU expecting to be moved from Daisy to Entanet?

Yes, that matches, although I'm only assuming that the destination is Entanet, as I don't recall ADSL24/coms actually saying anything other than "....OUR future proof network...." (My capitals).

you are not moving to Entanet, its just the backhaul Coms are using.......

Im on Market 1 exchange and I got an email today saying it had been delayed, With no LLU what will I be transferred to?

Unfortunately due to the technology used to provide your broadband service within your local exchange we have had to slightly delay the migration of your broadband to Coms. We are currently working to transfer your service to our network as quickly as possible and as soon as we have a date confirmed for the transfer we will let you know.

BT if thats only option?
