I have my MAC code and I think I'm set on Xilo but before I sign on the dotted line are there any other providers I should consider?

I can't speak for anyone else but Xilo support have been fantastic with me in helping deal with useless Coms/Enta support people, I would recommend them without hesitation based on that alone.

DrTeeth I'm intrigued to know what your deleted post said.
So far it's looking like Xilo is the way to go, no-one has a bad word to say about them, which is the way it was with ADSL24.
Don't get me wrong I had some outages with ADSL24 and some speed issues but the way they resolved any issues really set them out from the opposition. A couple of tickets back and forth, problem solved.
This is the kind of provider I'm looking for.

Just tried to use my MAC code for Xilo & the shopping cart shows a fee of £40 for activation, is that correct?
I'm currently on the standard package with ADSL24 not LLU as far as I am aware.
I have tried the The SOHO 50GB (21CN) & 100GB (21CN) and both add in the extra charge.
The Pro 100GB does add in the Migration - LLU fee of £40 which I would expect.
I was expecting it to be just £11

As good as adsl24 were, the way they covertly moved people over to LLU was devious.
AOL > Homechoice > Freedom2surf > ADSL24 > Coms

Possibly the xilo checker sees your line with a partial LLU (SMPF) broadband connection if you believe you are not on full LLU (MPF)?

COMS have confirmed I am on LLU.

Maybe a Plusnet line rental/broadband (WLR/21CN) deal might be an option if you are on a Market 2/3 21CN enabled exchange?

If Xilo doesn't work out, I was quoted free migration by, TalkTalk Business (really excellent service), Plusnet and EE. Hope that helps

Should not be a migration charge, from LLU to LLU but Xilo may have different billing guides
