Anyone with coms and got serious speed issues. Everything was fine this morning went out came back and it was running very sluggish, non respondant. syncing at 16mb speedtest says 1mb ping 210ms

Not had this problem since the world cup started, I know the England play tonight. The guy on the phone he could see errors, who knows. He's not bothered to call back so wasted 10 mins on hold, cant say he didnt know my number, guess waiting for 10 mins loads of people having the same issues

I think it's a fault rather than congestion as it came on very suddenly. I was in the middle of a game of World of Tanks and my ping just shot up from 30-40ms to 800ms+ and the connection has been almost unusable since.

Speeds same as always for me, as is ping. So not sure what you and the others are experiencing

South Wales here - haven't had a webpage fail to load yet, but its extremely sluggish, taking upwards of 30 seconds to a minunte. Started around 6pm

Welcome to the Cogent Communications status page. As of 1:30pm Eastern some customers in Stamford CT may be experiencing an outage. This is being investigated by the Cogent NOC and our fiber vendor. There is currently no ETR. The ticket number for the issue is HD5771578
Probably not related, but thats on the Cogent website (which coms use, although should be the UK servers not the US). 1:30PM Eastern is 6:30PM UK time though

Speedtest.net is reporting 346ms ping and 0.63Mbit down, 0.23Mbit up here.

Whatever the issue was, appears to have been sorted now!

Just done another speedtest and things seem to be back to normal for me at the moment.

Ping has gone back to normal here, dl/ul speeds still a little low but not by too much.

Back to normal here as well. Why don't coms have a status page that we could view on smartphone to save wasting time calling an "analyst" lol
