Jurassic Fibre - Weymouth

[link to this post]

I noticed some road works from JF, so I popped an email to their sales team the other day... not heard anything back, not even a "thank you for your email" style auto reply.

Has anyone else made contact with them? What are they like technically and can you can use your own equipment, or are you forced to use their router and potentially end up in a nasty double NAT environment?

Vodafone Fibre (Superfast2 - 80/20), Draytek 130, DrayTek 2925, DrayTek AP-910c x 2
(Gone but not forgotten: AP-700, 2820n x 2, 2800vg, 2800, HG612)

I've found it hard to get anything from them via Facebook/email. The best way is to call them. AFAIK, JF only allows you to use your own router if you're a business customer.

My experience of them is that sales never used to reply(or take forever) to e-mail enquires although when I've contacted them in the last few months you normally get some kind of reply in days. They do respond on social media but typically tell you to contact sales. If you ring sales they will be able to tell you basic stuff like whether they're in your postcode, but they don't tend to tell you anything interesting about their rollout timetable. Since they've added an online postcode checker to their site(at last!!!) - with a rollout progress indicator, most potential customers won't need to e-mail them.
