YouFibre installed

[link to this post]

YouFibre was installed yesterday. The engineer put the ONT exactly where I wanted it, plugged in and its all good. Getting 920Mbs down (multithreaded) and 600Mbs upload. Its replacing a 500/70 BT connection. Latency look good, slightly better than the BT connection, which I hadn't expected. The phones (Gigaset N300-IP) work fine.

I'm using my own router, EdgeRouter X, and that works fine too. One of the comments on the YouFibre web site suggested I would have to clone the mac address from the supplied router, but no, it just worked.

The supplied router is an eero 6+ and I'll probably put this into bridge mode and use it as an access point since its better than my existing Ubiquiti Amplifi-HD.

So far, I'm very pleased with it.
