Giganet - network change (new vs old?)

[link to this post]

Just came back from holiday and noticed my Giganet connection (openreach) has now changed:
- IPv4 fixed address (for 1.5 years) replaced by CGNAT
- IPv6 prefix changed (48->56, different) - can deal with change & smaller range (!) but is it fixed or dynamic?
- latency increased on first hop by ~3ms, with noticeably more ipv4 hops

I didn't notice any email from giganet. I presume this is their 'new' network which seems worse in all ways so far.

I understand the reason for (but don't like) cgnat. I wish I'd know if ipv6 prefix is static, and am annoyed mostly at the latency increase.

Possibly a time to switch. I have emailed them for a response.

The obvious question as well is - if not giganet, who might offer fixes to the above (not A&A sorry, too pricey). Maybe time to look at aquiss or zen again

Might be worth having a look at this discussion. Seems you aren't the first...

I moved to Aquiss for this reason.

It may be the cgnat / latency issues are distinct in that I've had a response elsewhere from someone (same geo area) on giganet via cityfibre who's also seen a ~3ms latency increase.
