Brsk hassling elderly neighbours.

[link to this post]

Brsk installed their equipment in our street last year and have a few people as their clients. Recently their sales team, usually two at once, are knocking on doors every 3 to 4 weeks. I have asked them on numerous occasions to stop knocking on our door, to no avail.

Last week our 90 year old neighbour was being spoken to by 2 members of Brsk's sales team. She has never had access to the internet and doesn't want it, but these 2 didn't seem to understand that. My wife intervened and was verbally abused by 1 of the sales team.

The elderly neighbour called one of the other neighbours after the encounter and he has since sent an email to Brsk. Whether the sales team will be retrained, who knows?

Brsk seem to offer a fast and relatively cheap service, but the way they sell their services to the public needs to be looked at.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1, VM 2Mb & O2 Standard
Utility Warehouse (up to 16mbps) via Talk Talk, upgraded to fibre 40/10

I'd imagine they are a 3rd party company doing door to door sales on behalf of BRSK. I'd ask to see their ID and then report them directly to Brsk for overly aggressive selling.

These people will be on sales targets or equivalent. Thus, all morals and judgement beyond closing a sale are irrelevant. Targets are one of the biggest evils in society. I know, because my employer tried it on with me many years ago (I wouldn't "play"; I wasn't highly regarded!) Remember the banks and their insurance mis-selling thing a few years back. That was all down to targets/objecives.
