I was wondering if there's any Cuckoo customers here who were previously on Giganet, Jurassic Fibre or Swish Fibre before they all got migrated/consolidated under the Cuckoo brand?
I joined Giganet back in January 2024, shortly after they finished building out their own network in my local area. By May 2024, they announced they'd be moving me under the Cuckoo brand. I think the migration finished a month or two after that and ever since I've noticed that the Cuckoo checker says they don't service my area yet.
I've raised the issue a few times with their support team, highlighting many example postcodes that definitely were able to order Giganet broadband prior to the Cuckoo migration, and they've brushed it off saying they're not available here yet. Clearly they are, as I've been connected to Giganet for over 2 years now! I feel like it's probably as simple as a database issue but I don't seem to be getting through to anyone technical enough to understand what I'm talking about.
It would be good to know from others, both also in Giganet areas, but would be interesting to know if the same issue exists in ex Jurassic Fibre and Swish Fibre areas.
At present this issue isn't impacting me since I'm still on their service, but I foresee needing to move within the local area in the next year and would like to stick with them (our area doesn't have any other symmetrical FTTP options available).
I'm hoping with more data showing it affects multiple areas I can push them further to get it sorted - they must be leaving so much money on the table by not taking orders from these areas!
