Re: ADSL24 > Coms migration. What could possibly go wrong?

Happy to say my issues with very high pings and lost packets seem to have been fixed. Things are running very much better today.

So its finally gone live. However under billing it says "We don't yet hold a Direct Debit on file for your account"

And my usage is counting weekends. Anyone else get the same?

Mine also says "We don't yet hold a Direct Debit on file for your account"
I'm on the unlimited package which now states A 1000 GB limit, apart from that it seems the same as before.

Just tried my account.

"Your username and/or password is incorrect - please try again."

It worked this morning before the change!

Here we go again..... frown

Mine holds my old pre-switch IP details, my ADSL24 tariff info, and no usage reports, line stats, anything.

You may have not switched yet then, could be doing it in stages

I switched a week last Friday. Very much on a Coms IP address space.

Our usage is showing counting the weekend usage too. Probably just a glitch while they sort things out. I'm being patient.

Only thing I've been slightly annoyed about was the less-than-24-hours email notice for the static IP address change (I have a locally-served weather website and spent 3 hours failt-finding before seeing the email sent to my mum who's the account holder), and our sync has dropped from about 5700 to 3855kbps since they increased the SNR margin from 6dB to 12dB. I did notice a lot of packet drops over the weekend but seems to be more stable today.
