possibly OT: L8nc and kerio firewal

I came home toay and my BB is back. This after suffering 12 days of no connection. no word from PN that it's fixed and no explanation of what caused it or what they did to fix it (which is something I will be asking for)

anyway, I've tried monitoring my line using L8nc, but all I get is 100% packet loss, this is despite allowing incoming/outgoing pings and ICMP packets,

can anyone give me an idiots guide to configuring kerio firewall to allow me to use l8nc.

Also just checking.. are you using a router?
If so you will need to make that pingable too.

It's easier to ping just the router. If your PC goes off, or your change your IP and forget about L8NC< they will disable your tests until you re-enable it, and it's taking a fair while to do that at the moment.
