The firm I work for pays PlusNet quite a bit of money for a 2mb/s line however people have been moaning that the broadband connection seems to be running slow.
Done some line tests and it seems we are only getting around 410kb/s speed download - nowhere near 2mb/s we are paying for.
We asked PlusNet to check this and they state that "The results of our tests show no fault with your broadband connection.
According to BT, the speed is within the limits of acceptable performance for broadband service"
So what they are saying us they are quite happy to take our money and then give us a service WELL below what we are expecting!
Question is
a) will they now regrade us down to 512kb/s as we cannot even get that
or
b) should we get a MAC code and try another ISP??
