Awful Latency for gaming/P2P Speeds around 10k

[link to this post]

In the past week I have had terrible pings for gaming from my PN connection, over 400 to UK servers. I get kicked often adn the game lags.

Its only recently, although P2P speeds have gradually been coming down since they atarted throttling and now stand at about 10-20k for bitorrent whatever the numbr of seeds.

Who should I migrate to, has anyone any ideas?

I dont go over oplusnets limits ever, and am on BB Premier (although its not 'premier' at all anymore. its awful)

Would Sky be a good option do you think? Also anyone else having the trouble I am having?

Yes, loads of people are. Their network is completely stuffed, p2p traffic is shaped to hell for 90% of the time, and now it's got so bad that higher priority traffic (like gaming) is getting shaped... I've had unplayable lag most of today.

Sky LLU is definitely a good option, not sure about their IPstream tho. See if they can offer you one of theirr

Thnaks for your reply Mr Mojo.

I was wondering if it was just me, but unfortunaltely it seems to be everyone

I will raise a ticket, just to see what their response is. If they tell me the truth and give a me a realistic time of when it will be fixed, I will probably stay and see if things get better for another month.

If they try and fob me off with 'everythings fine' I will try and Migrate as soon as possible.

There is NOTHING reporting any of these latency probelms on the forums and posts about it go unanswered.
