2 Months since MaxDSL and still no line

[link to this post]

Whilst I'm not speaking for my own service with PlusNet, a family friend and a referee to my service has been now two months without any service whatsoever.

Initially when the connection went down nothing was mentioned, then a few days later the telephone line was switched off all together. After several calls to BT and plusnet the line finally was recovered and they were able to receive and make calls (this took a week).

Since then, many phone calls to PlusNet have been carried out at very lengthy and expensive costs to them. What I cease to understand, much like themselves is that: How can such a grave mistake be made? Why can't they get their act together and resolve the problem.

I've read their "Question" with PlusNet and they repeatedly ignore all questions being asked, they merely repeat the same "we're looking into it" statement.

To this day (2 months later), they still are unable to connect. They are unable to do anything, yet are happily being charged for no service.

I have personally been with PlusNet for 3-4 years and when I did sign up with them initially they were good, they had unlimited downloads, usefully and friendly CS and offered a decent service. I now question why my once "unlimited" downloads are limited, why the service disconnects at least 3 times a day and furthermore why I had to spend 2 hours on hold to speak to the customer services to resolve MY MaxDSL issue.

PlusNet have become and now are uttery [censored]... if you're considering this ISP, don't!

That is very poor service. PN have been like this for a while now but it has become common to ignore even loyal and long standing customers. Ask for a MAC, migrate away and then a refund for the period without a connection.
