Simon,

I value you advice. I value your opinions. I respect you for how you come across but having read the first few lines it seem to defeat the object of this thread and hence why I haven't even bothed to read the rest. This is not about division or accusations but one to bring normality to this forum as a united front. No more and no less.

So....no intention to change your ways even slightly?

Four paragraphs of criticism and one promising to ignore someone.

I guess if we all take your lead, this place will never work. Criticism and ignoring others can't work, but it may work for some.

That is not how it reads, it sounds like you are laying down the terms and conditions.

I agree with you wholeheartedly but I will make some observations. If PN decide to post on this forum again then it will be due to choice and they must only do so to impart information and help on an honest basis. What does that mean?

Do I expect them not to ever make a mistake? No, but I do expect them to help people the best they can but if they given an answer to a specific question then I also expect them to check and verify those facts before they post their reply to ensure that it isn't different, wrong in fact or contracdictory to company policy. All of us need consistency and truth. No more and no less.

I plead with not only you but everyone, stop posting a reply in those terms. Please. I believe that a division has formed when the aim is the same in the main and for all.

Well I regret to say that some people are hell bent on keeping this forum as an Attack, Attack forum as I've been saying all along. WFA to do with helping anyone.

I've said my peace. Look to others to get the results mate. If you want peace in here, lead the way, but I doubt the main problem people will follow your lead. There's far too much in it for them, and they'ed have nothing to do over the winter.

George, if I was still a customer I would still demand the same.

If I seem to lay down the terms to those specification then it can only be a good thing for customers like you. Am I wrong?

It implies that they give information when they have consulted within the company, made a policy decision and have a consistent answer. It also means that it should always be checked and double checked before it is posted in a public forum. It implies no more.

Why do you distrust me because I can assure you that my OP is meant and written without hidden meanings or insinuations and should be read as such. I am tired or bickering with anyone and we need to make this forum a place for proper debate.

I hope that my post was on-topic, realistic, honest, civil and ultimately constructive. In the real world, I suspect that the best way to bring a measure of peace to this forum is simply to ignore posts which are disruptive, mine included.

The irony of course is that those who seek to disrupt reasoned debate only give it greater prominence so they are self-defeating. And those who engage with disruptive influences similarly promote their cause.

I don't think I have ever been personally abusive towards anyone, not even those who were being abusive towards me -- but my civility seems to anger certain people even more. So I do believe that the trusty "killfile" is the most realistic hope for a semblance of peace.

Ahh, but how can PN reps ignore you if you keep badgering them on repetitive issues? It's been a year (or so) since you started. I know you're not about to stop, because you enjoy it too much. If you didn't, you wouldn't post.

You might have made your peace with me but but if we look at the the object of this thread then I can conclude that everyone that has posted so far has done everything but accept the original post or the intentions.

We are still in division and we are no further forward to making this place a better one. Can we please have some peace and some mature behaviour from all?

Please!
