Yet another reaon to leave.

To move my email, possibly. It's not a good idea to have all your eggs in one basket.
To leave PlusNet? A lot of ISPs woudn't have put me on Max, or would have done so with interleaving on and a high SNR target. I've got a good Max speed, don't have p2p problems because I hardly ever use it, and am happy that I can get technical answers to technical questions.
I'd only leave for a better, faster service, and Be isn't due in my area until sometime next year. I'd certainly not pay

I've just started to get emails over POP3, and their latest service update says they rekon they've fixed it.

Well, at least I got some emails when it was up.
Seems to be down again for me though.

I am still getting the " No response from server" message so it is not fixed yet...at least not for me!

It's still working fine for me.
Maybe the first announcement of it being fixed was early, because I saw another one saying it was fixed 40 minutes later, but people are saying it works now.

It just timed out for me a second ago again.
Seems to be up and down like a yo-yo then, like I say I did get a few emails through about an hour ago.

Its still out for me, but at least I'm getting used to it.
Two years ago I moved to Plusnet and for the first twelve months the service they provided seemed first class. How can their shareholders allow them to deteriorate into the pathetic ISP that they are today?

perhaps its all those people that tell their client to check for mail every 5mins thats putting a load on it
