When & Why has the LLU FAQ changed?

[link to this post]

I was sent a PM from a PN customer to try and help them in relation to LLU and non-connection for a month. During my reply to them and copying URL I noticed the changes.

Why have PN changed their LLU FAQ and when did they remove the opt-out as well as the agreement to move back for free as per the previous one? Who was informed? Were the PUG told and if so what is your position and why did you not make an announcement? Why is there not a copy of the previous LLU left on the site if this is the new policy?

I just can't believe the audacity of PN to keep changing their LLU FAQ, without notice and withdrawing legally binding promises on a monthly basis or on a whim!

Does anyone know if this is an error?

Ah! The ever changing LLU FAQ, a quick google shows it still had the 'missing' questions on October 1, 2006 at 14:29:21 GMT

This document has been changed several times since it was first put on the site, but as it's never dated when it's changed, it makes it almost impossible to know what's changed (other than the now missing opt-out)

Not only is the opt-out missing but the basis for people to be moved back to BT for free. Now it states that people will have to pay

I wonder if they're getting ready to start transfering another few thousand users?

I have recived a PM from Ian Wild and he states:

On the FAQ, were just rolling back the changes - Looks like another communication breakdown., or an accidental roll-out. An internal investigation is underway...

Hi Ian,

Are you saying this is an error or new policy?

I'm saying that nothing has changed and there isn't a new policy, yes.

Ian

The previous version is back up now. At least IW responded, and acted, quickly. Makes you wonder though...

What is wrong with changing the FAQ? It is precisely that - a Frequently Asked Questions list, which indicates a degree of fluidity. It's not a T&C. They are under no obligation to let you know if they want to change it.

Well, it's true. And this is coming from someone who has had problems with LLU, and has just been moved back to IPStream, so I am no fanboy.
