Thanks Plusnet

And I do mean that. I thught I'd post and thank Plusnet for the years I've been with them in the past. There have been many good years, sadly spoiled over the last months with traffic shaping, changes to the ticket help system making it nigh on impossible to raise a ticket, CS telephone numbers that seemed to keep you waiting an eternity, constant issues with Email (in one of my mail boxes I seemed to get more mail advising me about problems than anything else!) and tbh, as a relativley happy PN subscriber with no real axe to grind at that time, I found Marco Potestas infamous outburst to be very disrespectful and a terrible way to talk to any customer. I'm thinking he's obviously a graduate of the 'Mayfair Course on how to win friends and influence people' (ficticious - apologies if such a thing does exist ). Anyway, that annoyed me no end, and for me was the final straw. So, I've been keeping an eye on this forum and it seems to have calmed down a bit, which I feel is a good thing, but I did see many posts that had me worried, especially when reading about other experiences of trying to leave. I must say that I requested my MAC last night and woke up this morning to have it waiting for me. I will cancel my dd with the bank once they've taken their last months debit so I'd hope all goes well there too.

Anyway, I genuinely have had many good times with PN and would like to thank them. Many of the staff have been fantastic (Can I name especially James Bailey, Mand Beckett and Dave Tomlinson although this is not an exhaustive list). So, to finish, I really do hope that PN get it right, I must also admit that ruumours of a sale to BT had me concerned too, but I guess that doesn't really matter to me now. Good luck PN, I hope it works out for you.

Well, for what its worth....

the 6th has been the day of my migration. Am now pleased to be with Zen, why amd I posting to tell you this you might ask?

Well, despite assurances from PN that I would have a fully functioning broadband connection rith up until the time of migration, it didn't work like that. I've had nexty to no connection all weekend which is unfortunate as I really needed to crack on with some work, oh well.....

As I said now with Zen, and I'm amazed, even the PN portal loads so much quicker.....

So thanks for the last years PN, and signing out of the PN forum as I'm no longer a customer
