Can't cope with these 0.1MB BB+ speeds any more...

All day long I get 0.1 to 0.3 MB, with the only respite being between 2am and 5am when it "zooms" up to a massive 1.0 MB. Quite a change to my usual 4-7MB I had been getting. Support don't seem to care, cut and paste ticket replies are driving me nuts, so I need an escape.

Not being 'funny' or anything, but would it not make sense to post such a query in the Which ISP area?

OP states the trouble with PN and how they are unintrested in helping,
Then asks a follow on question about getting a decent service.
Can't see much wrong with that!

Well if he has a connection / Line problem he will migrate with it.

I'm migrating on Monday to Be*, but although my connection is almost unuseable during PlusNet's peak periods, it does climb from 40-120kbps during peak to around 3-3.8Mbps off-peak.

I'm no apologist for PlusNet - I'm leaving because of their problems after all - but it does sound like something other than their management might be to blame as others have sort of suggested.

Oh I see .. with off peak being so low .. you can tell it's not a line problem?? Very constructive!

When migrating in general it is worth remembering that your line quality, any non ISP faults such as BT faults and PC faults in general will migrate with you.

Any ISP issues should hopefully not be there when you migrate but you might meet new ones with your new ISP so choose your new ISP carefully and make sure it fits your needs.

People all over the internet are posting that PN are screwing their connection up, wake up and smell the coffee.

Everyone else who has left and gone to another ISP have magically had their exchange contention, faulty filters, and poor downloads miraculously fixed.

That is wishful thinking on your part and shows that you couldnt give a fig about his line problem.
