Having never (knowingly) used the old AtMail address book, can someone that has used it let me know what information you were able to store in the contact details -- was it limited to just a name and email address or could you save other personal information to it as well and if so, what?

Thank you

@Mail contacts/addressbooks are like any other standard addressbook and can conatin names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, websites, notes etc.

I can't say for sure (as I also never used them) that PlusNet's system allowed all these options but I'd imagine they did.

There's a demo of the newer @mail system available here Although obviously it shouldn't be used to make assumptions about PlusNet's installation of the system.

It's all the pretty standard sort of vCard/Outlook fields for contacts.

It's a shame that that judge didn't know much about 'teh interweb' but judges often no very little of the subject matter for cases they are presiding over. Hence expert witnesses. It's when they're clueless or leading that you want to be really worried!
