Email STILL being delayed

Some of my email is still arriving well after it was sent, today one arrived 2 hours after it was sent and another one 12 hours after.....and this is happening around 48 hours after Plusnet's final service status announcement giving email the all-clear.
I'm beginning to think that this scenario and below par service level is happening too often for even my usually patient self.

Is anybody else having the same problems as me?

Have you looked at the headers to see where the delay is being caused? I wonder if there is a common server that is slow for all the mails.

Can you let us have the mail headers? That should show where the delay was. There was a brief spike in the queues on one of the mxcores and on mxlast today:

That may account for 2 hour delay, but would be very interested to see the 12 hour one.

Headers now PM'd, and let me know if I'm right re my suspicion that the delay might be at the other end.

Vince, I would love to have posted the headers here so you could see, but didn't want to spend time removing all the personal bits
I'll post again once I get a reply from Dave, but tbh I suspect I might have got it wrong

FAO Vince and anyone else, the delay wasn't at PN, it was at the originating end. (ebay)
Once they released it, it got to my inbox in about 25 seconds.
