Email - up to 10 hour delays?

[link to this post]

Anyone else getting such extended dealys on emails?

I thought we were over such protracted dealys with emails following all the upgrades and platform improvements.

There's plenty of spam arriving without delay in many of my mailboxes!
Seriously though, are these delays showing up in the headers as occurring on PlusNet's servers, if so, which one? It may help someone have a look at what is going on.

Hi,

I've not seen any other reports of delays, can you let us have the headers then we can see where the delay is being cause?

Looking at those logs the delay is well outside of PN with what looks like a 19 hour delay in the same server. PN received it at 5:27.19 tonight and delivered it to your mailbox 1 second later.

Looks like that one was delayed on rhe4.ev1servers.net for 18 hours, the difference in timezones will account for the remaining hours.

This site's very useful for translating mail delays:

Yip. The delay is well outside of our control. The initial delay seems to have occcurred at the sending server.

It seems that it took our mail platform a very short lenght of time to deliver it to you once we had recieved it.
