BB & Phone thoughts/questions

Hi All

My sister in law is currently a PlusNet FRIACO user and over the weekend on a visit she asked me about saving as much as possible on her bills!!!!!!

So, as she spends about �36 per quarter on her FRIACO calls usage and as far as I know is a casual surfer but if she went BB may obviously use the net a little more ??? what can I advise her in respect of reducing her costs but getting a better surfing experience?

I surmise one of the lower BB packges would fit the bill but what about BB phone as well? In respect of using BB phone I note that mention is made of Line Rental included??

Can someone please distill the info for me into the cheapest sensible solution? Oh if you go BB phone what if the 'system' goes down i.e. how do you make 999 calls if ever required?

Don't confuse a phone service through a broadband connection, (VOIP), which I feel is only for people who know what they are up to, and Broadband and phone bundles involving just paying Plusnet for the line rental and calls instead of BT.
