Would Phorm be breach of contract by PN?

With PN & BT being best buddies now, I'm concerned that should I come back on an 18-month contract then at month 3 Phorm may be implemented.

I'd hope this would class as breach of contract but I'm unsure?

I doubt it. Unless the terms of your contract specifically state: "We shall never use Phorm" (or words to the same effect), why should it be a breach of contract?

Having said that, there are other posts elsewhere in this forum suggesting that BT has already dropped Phorm. If that is the case (and I don't know either way), then the risk of them both re-adopting AND implementing it within 18 months would be low, in my opinion.

To date only one person has suggested this, and I would expect people like nodpi.org to be all over any rumour with substance to it

Before I went over to +net, I asked a direct question about them using phorm, and I got a straight forward NO they don't, and don't have plans to do so either.

Personally, I feel the 18 month contract is too long. Even 12 months is stretching it. Had I been limited to those two options I would not have signed up. Not because I don't trust +Net, more because we are having a recession and I might need to economise, now is not the time to commit to long contracts however large or small.
