Thinking of switching to PN unlimited..

Hello,
Currently on bbyw option 2 and thinking of switching to pn unlimited. If I was to do will i still get the same connection speed I have at the moment (1mb on adslmax) ?
Also I know the traffic management between the two products are different but in the real world will i notice a massive difference in speed (for better or worse) when downloading etc?

Basiclly I don't want to worry about download limits, but does the traffic management make it pointless to switch?

As you say, what that means in the real world is another question. But really it is your virtual world that matters, and that is unique.

Would switching trigger a new 12/18 month contract?

12 months if you don't take the router or the free house move
18 months if you do

Just been reading this and had been thinking along the same lines (upgrading from BB Premier Option 1 to Unlimited) but after checking the upgrade options there is a one off upgrade charge of £119.79

What is that all about? I wasn't expecting any one off charges

Err, what's this? An other example of charges on the web site that non-thinkers may NOT challenge, but those who query it publicly find it can be waived?

I wonder what answer a support request would have received?

It's the usual double standards that PN has been operating for quite some time. And no, before the usual suspects descend to defend the indefensible I will not be providing any links.

This happens when there's an annual contract that hasn't been fulfilled.

Everyone in the CSC would automatically waive those charges.
