LINKY. "If you've got a question to ask, what would you do first?"

So far the top answer is look at the help and support pages, followed by Google. Calling support and raising a ticket are the last options and together have only polled 24%. Why does Google rate better than calling or raising a ticket?

Presumably because the question is far too vague.
Also it shows that most people will try self help first by whatever means.

that and the fact that waiting for 10 minutes to be read a script from the the "monkeys" is enough to make anyone find another solution
