Can we not separate VPN and remote access applications as they are quite different things?

Using a useless crystal ball, the danger of switching to WBC and not raising prices is that the usage allowances/priorities will have to remain largely the same.

In reply to a post by Metronet_James:
They're all treated as VPN traffic which is "Gold".

James,

Please would you clarify. Are you saying that VPN traffic is now not restricted in every Plusnet current package, apart from all being Gold?

Hi Nick,

Sorry - I'm saying that the traffic is being picked up as Gold, but on some packages, like Value and BBYW1, it is also rate limited.

I think Plusnet are playing games here.

True all is classified as Gold -

But VPN is restricted -

Bit of a poor show to suggest there are no restrictions when in fact there are, no matter what you call them (Download speed, traffic prioritisation etc)

Yes, you posted your reply just before mine so I did not see it. However, I think my point about playing games with terms is still valid.
