Bandwidth limited due to usage last month not resetting

[link to this post]

My plusnet connection has been rate limited since Wednesday morning due to the usage tracker not resetting as it should have done on Monday. I have put in two calls on consecutive days about this issue, both times agents promised the issue would be resolved within a couple of hours. Both times this has not happened.

Yesterday afternoon I decided to submit a support ticket just so I could track the issue. So far nobody has responded to the ticket. I would appreciate if somebody on here could help get a move on resolving this issue. The ticket number is: 29960249.

My connection is utterly useless at the moment it is so slow.

It's probably an uncommon issue. I have canceled my account with a termination date at the end of the month. I brought forward the cancellation date to closely coincide with the date I am due to leave the country (for several months - hence the reason for me canceling). The guy I spoke to yesterday said this is the reason the system messed up and did not reset my usage.

I have every intention of rejoining plusnet when I return to the UK next year. So it's probably worth your while making me leave as happy as I have been for the past 15+ months.

Hi there,

I've seen a ticket through to our Networks Team to fix this.

If you are cancelled, a data transfer watch cap is set, but it should take into account the pro rata usage, rather than just not resetting it.

Hi James,

Thanks for escalating this issue for me. Hopefully this can get sorted out before the weekend.

I would only expect to get some bandwidth at good speed this month given that I have paid for the service up to the point of my cancellation date.
