Hi

Could one of the Plus reps advise on the price of a new phoneline provision cost?

Cheers

Just had one done through Plusnet, £49.99 smile

Connected for a week, was for broadband only but connected a phone 2 days ago and already had 3 unsolicited calls, 1 for kitchen units, 1 for a will and the other I just put the phone down. I haven't given the number to anyone frown

Hi there,

A start of a stopped line is currently free. If a whole new install is required we've got a special offer on for £49.99 at the moment (standard charge is £105).

Its possible BT recycled the number quite quickly so its already in the databases...?

Some systems also trawl through numbers - or maybe they look for brand new numbers as they'd see BT allocating them in turn. Nasty but easy to code.
