It shouldn't have. I've just tried from this end and managed to download the latest headers for PSC-F.

It might be down to giganews not recognising your IP address as belonging to Plusnet. Suggest you post your IP address (with the last part masked).

Have you made any changes to your IP address recently? Perhaps changed to using a static IP instead of a dynamic one?

Let us know and I can check with Bob to see if there is any way of identifying whether or not your IP address is recognised by Giganews as one of ours.

IP address is static so shouldn't have changed, I'll send you a PM so you can check it.

I've just seen something on p.s.c-f which might be relevant.

Can you check the gateway you are on. ptn-ag1 seems to be causing problems with PN usenet, reconnecting on to a different gateway solved the problem.

@_ben I don't think it's the IP address, what gateway are you on?

I've just managed to replicate a problem with connectivity to the news servers from ptn-ag1 that was being reported over in p.s.customer-feedback. A case has been raised with our network engineers to look into this further (ref: 58781).

If your are connected to ptn-ag1 then try a reboot of your modem/router.
