If I leave Plus.Net will I still have access to email?

Hi,

After many many years with Plusnet I considering leaving to go to O2. The last time I changed ISPs I was able to access my old ISPs email for several years, though not send through them unless I dialled in via 0845 which was fair enough. I've already migrated most of my emails to a domain name I own, so that's not an issue, but there's bound to be some website I've forgotten to update, so I'm wondering if the same will be true of plus.net?

Anyone know?

When you ask for your MAC, make sure you ask for your account to downgraded to dialup PAYG. The day the migration happens ring in again and request the downgrade again.

You won't be able to send via Plusnet (authenticated SMTP is only available on subscription accounts) but your mailbox will remain active.

If you have any referrals you will still get credit for them, make sure bank details are kept current so that they can send you the dosh! (payments are only made when the credit reaches £5)
