of course I am not saying millions of people do not web browse. I mean I reckon millions of people have got broadband primary for use that is not web browsing but probably still do some web browsing, and I also count what you listed as web browsing.

Mines now at 792K using that tester, Usenet is flying at 0K for non-ssl or 7.2K for ssl frown

Edit
And 3 mins later it jumps to 510K for SSL, very strange smile

The speeds been fluctuating wildly on usenet for a while, hopefully when they get the fixes in place it'll settle down again, I lost my patience with it earlier in the week I must admit as I have an 8128 sync and downloads were at 2.2mbps for a couple of days no matter what gateway I tried, but it does seem better now.
That's why I said to subscribe to the newsfeed either through RSS feed or email at least you'll know whats going on
