Whats happened?

My speeds have been great - I was getting speed tests results of between 8-11mb. Since yesterday my speeds have dropped to 1.4mb and BT says today is 1451 Kbps. My line dropped yesterday, and for a while I could not connect. Today my great speeds have gone and I am sure in netgear my downstream connection speed has changed. It says DownStream Connection Speed 1790 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 315 kbps

Anyone know what could be the reason?
I recently changed to Plusnet Pro

Reconnected a few times and all but one gateway gave me awful speeds. How can 3 gateways give 1.4mb connection yet one give 8mb? We shouldnt have to mess about finding a decent gateway.

If you haven't already done so I would raise a ticket so that they can look at your problems.

Just be aware of the delay in replying, the time shown on here shows an average closure time of 21 hours but I have now been waiting 48 hours for a first response to my ticket frown

I sent a ticket to maaf CS and got a reply around 16 hours later smile

Unfortunately the response was little better than useless frown

I've not used the ticket system much as I've never found it to be much help.

That's probably why there is a PN Comms Team and UK CS available on the forums,
mind you that's not much use if you don't know it's available tongue
