BBYW Opt1 vs Value

I'm currently on Broadband Your Way Option 1 (Monthly contract) and although I haven't, as yet, gone over the 2GB allowance I am getting closer to it.

Can anyone explain to me exactly what the differences are between the bb I'm on and Plusnet Value? I'm thinking that I cannot get an extra 8GB for £4 LESS per month without losing something (or am I being overly suspicious?).

I would be grateful for any information/advice anyone can give to assist me in making a correct decision as to whether to change packages or not as I'm presuming that I wouldn't be able to change back seeing as BBYW is no longer offered.

Switching from BBYW option 1 to Value would be a good move - especially if you are on a Market 3 exchange where the price doesn't rise to £11.99 after 3 months!

yes, apparently i am in a Market 3 area ... which is why I'm wondering what/where the catch is! Need to know if I'll lose something, and if so what?

As regards Value check question no 6. Then check this is changing.

As the OP is only using about 2GB per month, the new charges for going over 10GB on Value shouldn't worry them I would assume.

In a market 3 area you really have nothing to lose.

You'll keep any existing additional features, and will pay less for more usage each month.
