Price rises end of March

[link to this post]

Just read a post by KevinR in the thread about "true colours", where he mentioned these.

Have they been commented on before, because I haven't seen it if they have?

What I did see yesterday was am advert on a bus shelter in Manchester where the £5.99 was the big splash, and the small print said rising 30 March IIRC to £6.99. And the £11.99 going up as well.

Full details here. A bigger change for 'Pro' users, for better or worse. I wonder if the 'Pro' affects current users, not that it affects me anymore.

Ah, thanks.

Odd that PN are sticking it on posters on bus shelters in city centres and that leak, but nothing here or on the website, and KevinR was the first to comment.

Allowance cut on Extra! (Ex Premium).

Extra is a new product with a different allowance and a reduced price. Premium is being withdrawn.

In my opinion the Value, Extra and Pro product family form a better balanced product set. In particular Extra fits well as an affordable upgrade path for Value customers needing more bandwidth.

Interesting!

I am (still) on a BB Premier Option 1 I think this is deemed a legacy "product". I have not to date found any reason to change to a newer package though this one not cheap.

But frankly it is a case of getting my head round the differences and deciding what may be best or not as the case may be???

Sadly I am on a Market 1 exchange so stuck with the impact that makes on the costs!

TIA for any insight for folk like me smile

For the time being you'll always get a cheaper deal from Plusnet seeing as you use a market 3 exchange wink

Yes indeed, plus you have the benefit of LLU providers in the exchange.

Can you get cable too?

Like me except the LLU providers are AOL, Tiscali, TalkTalk and Sky and I don't have Sky TV
