Emails from ccgi not being delivered

Since this afternoons maintenance when the IP address of some of the mail servers was changed I'm not getting any emails delivered sent by three different applications on ccgi (two php and one perl). I've checked in the headers of old emails and one of the servers which changed is in the servoce status post.

I've tried ringing support to get it looked at but got nowhere.

Can anyone confirm if they are seeing emails delivered which were sent by applications on ccgi since this afternoon?

I'll reply over on Community but have you raised a ticket on your account? If not, can you so I can get things looked into?

Bob confirmed the problem with a test of his own. A service status posting has been made and the problem is being fixed.

I've started to see the emails from yesterday coming through.

Yet again nothing gets done until Digital Care (Comms Team) are on the case.

On this occasion it was a bit unfortunate that you happened to speak to two relatively new (and inexperienced) starters when you called last night

Sorry Bob, that doesn't wash. Both agents I spoke too consulted with someone else when I was insistent that something needed to be done.

You have to ask yourself how they explained the problem to the person they were seeking assistance from though.

Regardless, the issue has since been raised with their line managers/trainers so they can be educated about not making similar mistakes in the future.

Perhaps it's the person they were seeking assistance from who needs educating, and not necessarily the indians at the front?
