Plusnet UL Fibre only 10mb up?

My cab went live last night and i`ve now upgraded via the portal to Fibre Unlimited, says 64.2mb Down but only 10mb up although on the DSL checker the upload speed is near double.

Is this a cap that Plusnet put on like the ADSL and if so is this removable like the ADSL product?

No, it's not a cap. I would say you had been mistakenly provisioned on the 40/10 product but if you are getting 64Mbps download speed that cannot be true. What do you mean by "DSL checker" and where are you getting the download and upload speeds from?

He hasn't been provisioned yet, only just placed the order .

Hi there,

We either place you on 40/10 or 80/20, so as your download speed is above 40Mb/s you'll be provisioned on 80/20.

Your upload speed will sync at the maximum attainable(upto 20Mb/s).

Ahhh, can you PM your username and I'll take a look at that.

It should display the same as the BT checker, maybe the speed estimate for the upload changed?
