Slow speed today 11 july?

Hi, getting really low speeds on HTTP downloads today so I've run TBB speed test and well...see below.
Anybody else? frown

Currently Plusnet "80/20" FTTC...Not overly impressed at the moment :|

Aye I'm on the new network :/
Which is irritating because...
On the old network you could gateway hop to get around these issues...can't on the new one, you're fixed to a pop :|

Talking to Plusnet earlier today and they have been experiencing network problems on certain IP addresses over the weekend and is still under investigation. 51.6.x.x and 146.x.x.x ranges have been mentioned.

changed gateways on 11 july and only have a quarter of the speed I had before

Are PN new network is worse than the old network?

If so, time to leave rubbish PN under rights to leave with price increasing can get out of contract for no charge.

line now sorted bt engineer said the line in the cabinet was corroded and as soon as he touched it it snapped
speed a bit higher than it was
