This thread from the PN forum doesn't make good reading frown

Apparently chat has been "temporarily disabled"

Sorry for the inconvenience but we've paused Live Chat for everything apart from Sales and Mobile whilst we investigate how best to use the facility. In the meantime, though it will continue to just say that we are busy for any other option.


Problem is, the chat widget just shows as busy. PN offer no timescale as to how long chat will be disabled for, neither do they say when (or if) they will announce it or show it is not available as a contact means in any way on the site. So, if you re in the queue already, you will be in for a long wait!!

Contemptable IMO.

Disappointing, Live Chat is usually my first preference when contacting companies.

It's not just live chat that's a problem, I have been unable to contact PlusNet by telephone for over a week now. Just before Christmas my fibre connection speed dropped from its usual 64Mbps down to 34Mbps and lower. I have tried multiple times to contact PlusNet about it but have been unable to speak to anybody.

I think my only option is to cancel my direct debit and see how long it takes them to contact me!

I have been a PlusNet customer since 2004, I think its now time to part company. when they were good they were OK unfortunately those days seem long gone.

I sympathise but that's a bad option that'll end in tears smile . I'd suggest posting on the PlusNet Community Forum instead.
