Neither option is here either. Although you can have 80/20 on FTTP.

I am not bothered, if/when FTTP come here, and they offer me it for a good price I may take it, but to be honest pay enough as it is, but it will be a few years if we ever get it.
I am fine with my 35Mb/s Maybe uploading could be better, certainly if I decide to do my own you tube videos, when I have the energy to do it.

Or their EE brand.

BT Consumer has three bands:
* BT
* EE
* Plusnet

And it is often hard to tell the last two apart!

True,
I know someone with EE and EE must have a different customer service, because they are certainly not as good as Plusnet have been to me

Good to hear of your positive experiences.

As you say we will never know what percentage of customers do have problems, but according to a couple of posts I read recently some still are. frown

The lack of respons to my complaint seems to suggest Plusnet just don't care.

They must have changed in the last couple of years, have you tried their forums, not that you should have to go on their forums. That is one of my problems with Talk Talk, if you have a problem, go on their forums.

give plusnet a ring, how far are you away from the end of your contract?

Yes, have posted on their "Community" as they call it.

I've just started my contract, but I been with them a number of times over the years. I usually swap annually between them and Sky as they don't contact me with any offers before my contract expires.

I'm still on ADSL with Utility Warehouse. 14 mbps down 0.6 mbps up. More than adequate for our hosehold needs.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1, VM 2Mb & O2 Standard
Now Utility Warehouse (up to 16mbps) via Talk Talk

It is fine if that works for you, the problem is that sometimes you pay more for ADSL than for FTTC, I can understand if you can not get FTTC.
The people I know on ADSl is paying a fair bit less than they would on FTTC and like you they get a decent speed.

No real problem, just lack of customer service.

I've raised several points that have just been ignored. Correction my emails have just been deleted without being read!

How much is that cost compare to FTTC cost? I reckon FTTC is cheaper than ADSL

UW does things differently to other providers, they bundle things together, so you have gas, electric and broadband bundled up.
I am not sure if it is possible to have one thing from them, i have heard some bad things about them to be honest like customer service being worse than Talk Talk, if that is possible.
But I know of one person who uses them and have been for a while and have no problems what so ever, but they do not live around here and I have no idea what network UW uses.

Not something I would do, I am not fond of putting all my eggs in one basket. i did have plusnet mobile for a while, it was fine, but smarty is cheaper.
