Fibre Problem at my parents

My parents has borrowed my Billion 8800nl VDSL modem router with dsl cable replaced because they believe that Plusnet Hub One is faulty. They kept getting disconnected every days for month.

I have contact PN via phone call. They can't do anything at the moment as openreach engineer will not come out unless there is loss of broadband or no phone tone on the line, as engineers are reduiced due to coronavirus.

I told my parents could be work ongoing in their green box area with FTTP installing there. Not sure.

My parents are getting annoyed now. They told me why is my plusnet broadband went down 4 times today. They can't keep up with netflix. Getting ridiculous now as PN will not do anything about it. I put dslstats to keep it monitoring on their line as I can see their SNR was spiked all over the place.

Surely PN should bring in openreach engineer to check their line as it could be dslam line card faulty at the cabinet?

PN sent an engineer out to me due to low upload speeds, line was staying up fine so they can definatley send engineers. Kick up a fuss !

Plusnet has found a fault in my parents and are sending out engineer on Monday as the fault has picked up the case

No not since October 1st and still waiting for the fault ticket to pick up since raise the fault on the 1st of October. Gone a week now with no ones seem pick it up from the fault team and no sign of openreach engineer either

My parents fibre line back on now. PN has sorted out after 8 days! But disappointed with lack of fault team nothing to add on the ticket of what was wrong? No explained.
