Is the Hub 2 good as a VDSL modem?

My current setup is a DrayTek Vigor 130 VDSL modem and a couple of Asus routers configuration as an AIMesh which works well. I previously had a BTOR-supplied modem (was an ECI model I think) but replaced it with the Vigor 130 when I started getting line dropouts, the Vigor seemed to fix the issue.

PlusNet have offered me a Hub 2 for the price of the postage so I'm thinking of getting one and using it in bridge mode as a modem and selling the DrayTek on eBay. Does the PN Hub 2,work well as a modem?
