That's a bit personal considering that you don't know the person as they haven't made themselves present on this forum in order to announce who they are, don't you think?

I would tend to see it as that there are some out there who are just very astute business people and use what life throws at them.

Don't tell me that you've never used a 2 for 1 offer or a money off voucher before?

Edit: Sometimes you really have to stop and think if what you are about to say actually adds any value to the thread rather than just typing without thinking..

IMHO earning money via Plus.net referrals is not like joining in a pact with the Devil, if you believe in that sort of stuff. There are other worse things out there to worry about, trust me.

Indeed. It could also be that folk whose council tax or mortgage is being paid for by PlusNet might sometimes turn a blind eye to their faults.

I think it`s reasonable to assume that the referrer is aware of the current situation with Plusnet. It`s also reasonable to assume the referrer is in some way reselling PN products. In order to maintain such a high level of remuneration I would suggest that any service issues are dealt with by the referrer to CSC rather than the referral.

Without knowing the level of issues experienced by the clients, it`s difficult to make a judgement. However based on the current number of complaints on this, PUG and PN`s own forums it`s safe to assume that possibly all of them are included in the 95% who don`t visit these fora.

Quite why PN consider this to be a fact worthy of mention in the newsletter, when more pressing information could be given which would benefit the customer base is beyond me.

If it was dirty money from folks paying plusnet for a dire service I most certainly would turn it down, on principle.

I see it as a marketing push to get people to start referring Plus.net by word of mouth again.
After all, they have to stop the rot somehow..

"...dirty money...."

Bit histrionic, but par for the course I suppose.
