Zoom router problem

[link to this post]

Hi
I am pretty new to wireless broadband. I have a Zoom X6 router which I've had for about six months. I had a lot of trouble getting it up and running, especially when I tried to add security to it. I eventually got it sorted but can't remember how. I have had to reinstall the router and have got all my computers conected but I am having problems again with the security setting. As soon as i add a passphrase and hit save changes the router disconnects from the web and the only way I can get on again is to make the connection unsecured. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Are you trying to change the passphrase while connected wirelessly?

Yes, is that what I'm doing wrong? Like I said I really am a beginner to all this

The only way I can get into the Zoom management page is by being online.

Thank you so much. I spent all last night trying to figure it and all morning. It was probably so stupidly obvious to you but I really didn't have a clue. Thanks again.

Don't worry, it's an easy mistake to make.

I made that mistake when I first had wireless.
