Norton support dire

[link to this post]

Anyone else had bad experiences with Norton Support? Live chat is outsourced to India by the looks and they do not know what they are talking about.

I spent 2 hours a couple of nights ago trying to resolve an issue at their end and was given wrong advice. Promises of managers ringing me within 24 hours are absolutely useless, never happened.

What other providers offer any decent support for next time my subscription comes up for renewal.

Just remember that if you want to uninstall Norton and use another product (I just use the free ones and am using Microsoft Security Essentials currently), just using 'uninstall' won't get rid of it all. You HAVE to download and run the Norton Removal Tool from their website at :-

As a previous poster said, Norton are pants full stop - absolutely..........

I've used Kaspersky ISS over the last 3 years, I've never had to use their UK support in that time.
