IP addresses of UK authorities

Out of curiosity (for educational purposes), does anyone have a list of IP addresses that UK authorities use (advertising standards, trading standards, police, mi5, mi6, councils, HMRC, home office, border agency, etc.)? Or some of them? I've heard they use some super big brother protected "internal" network, where they can easily share information between each other - subdomain like gsi.gov.uk?
Mr. Google isn't helpful about IP ranges.

What kind of educational purpose requires IP address range knowledge of the security services?

IP Class perhaps?

If I had a list I would be asking myself "Why do you have this list?"

I doubt it! And if they do. it's for their own Intranets and not for public consumption.

I would think that the security services etc. would need to keep their networks secure so don’t have any IP addresses lists for the public it’s possibly restricted info

If it's an internal network, by definition, it won't be using addresses in the public address space. It's of no use to you to know that PCs in a particular government office use IP addresses in the (private) range 192.168.0.1 through 192.168.xxx.xxx.

More likely to use the 10/8 range of addresses. Possibly split into local subnets.
