Malware discovered on film scanner software

I'm posting this because it is so unusual .

I have just read this report in Techworld Daily News regarding Cornflicker malware being found in cheap photo scanners. http://news.techworld.com/security/3421313/conficker...

If you got one of these scanners for Xmas (or know someone who did) it may be worth checking that your security programs detect and stop this worm.
