Free AVG Internet Security 2013

I received an email recently containing the following:-
"Did you know that if you�re using an older version of AVG Internet Security, you can update it to AVG Internet Security 2013 for FREE?"

The email came from Cyprus, and I was wondering whether it was a scam or a genuine offer.

I'm sure the official website will tell you.

I prefer the FREE version of Avast!
